Are you an engaged language teacher who wants to inspire students in German?

We are currently looking for a substitute teacher in German at Forsnässkolan during the regular staff's leave of absence.

Description

We are looking for a teacher who can teach German to students in grades 6–9 who are studying German as a modern language.

The workplace is Forsnässkolan, which has approximately 260 students in grades 4–9 as well as an adapted primary school. Around 40 employees work at the school.

Forsnässkolan actively works with school development and common development issues. The focus is on language and knowledge-developing approaches, accessible learning environments, and pedagogical leadership. Collegial learning is an important part of the operations, and student health professionals collaborate closely with other staff to create good conditions for students' learning and development.

As a teacher with us, you will contribute your pedagogical competence, develop teaching and working methods, and be a clear and inspiring leader in the classroom.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach German. We would also like you to have qualifications in at least one other subject, preferably Swedish as a second language. The position also includes mentorship in a grade 7 class.

You are flexible, curious, and wish to continue developing in your professional role. You are interested in participating in current research and contributing to teaching based on scientific grounds.

Good teamwork skills are important since collegial learning and joint development work are central parts of the school's operations. You are engaged, clear in your pedagogy, and always have the student in focus.

Experience or special knowledge within NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) is meritorious.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Conditions

The position is a substitute role at 60–100 % during the regular incumbent's leave of absence, starting in August 2026 and expected to last until December 2026, with the possibility of extension.
