Forsholan Lyckan consists of three departments where the working method is age-segregated. The work of creating conditions for children's care, development, and learning is ongoing, it is equally important every day, and takes place in interaction with each other. The collaboration facilitates transitions for the children in the age-segregated working method – it becomes natural to interact with everyone and it gives good opportunities for children to interact, develop, and learn with all ages. At the preschool, we lay the foundation for lifelong learning. The work is led by the principal who, in close collaboration with the educators, drives the work for a preschool to be proud of. At the preschool, there is a clear structure and consensus which is important for a sustainable value base where the child's best interest is always in focus and where care, respect, and humility play an important role. The atmosphere is welcoming and professional, which contributes to the individual and collegial development of the educators.

Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher, you work based on current regulatory documents and are responsible for teaching, planning, implementation, and documentation. You develop the education/teaching together with the work team. With the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Education Act, and the curriculum as a basis, you choose methods and content based on each child's knowledge, experiences, interests, and specific conditions. Your knowledge and creativity should promote the creation of inclusive learning environments both indoors and outdoors.

As an employee within the preschool in Filipstad Municipality, you will have access to a personal iPad as a digital work tool. We develop collegial learning and collaboration for equality within the preschool with the help of digital tools such as Teams and InfoMentor.

The work involves close contact with colleagues, children, and guardians, and we constantly strive for a clear structure in all contexts at the preschool.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher. You should have good ability to communicate with both children and adults and with great enthusiasm create stimulating learning environments. We are looking for you who are responsible, positive, curious, receptive, learning, and reflective. We value creativity, commitment, and a genuine interest in children's care, development, and learning.

Conditions

Before employment, a valid extract from the criminal record certificate is required. Interviews may take place continuously during the application period.
