Within the Child and Education Administration, our approximately 3,000 employees meet around 14,000 children and students at more than 100 preschools and schools across the municipality every day. Every child and student in Sundsvall's preschools and schools should be able to develop, learn, and reach their goals according to their own prerequisites. Every student should be able to leave school with the desire, knowledge, and good conditions to meet adult life and the future.

Your new workplace

The preschool area of Kovland/Indal/Liden/Holm encompasses both one of Sundsvall's largest preschools (Vallen) and the smallest (Anundgård), spanning the northwestern corner of Sundsvall. Anundgård Preschool is located on the outskirts of the village, next to the interest association's facilities with a gym and café, Holm's beautiful church and gas station, with a view over Holmsjön. At Anundgård, we have access to a barbecue area and a lighted running track, as well as a football field and large grassy areas directly adjacent to our lovely yard, which is varied with good access to pedagogical outdoor environments. Anundgård Preschool has a profile focused on outdoor pedagogy with outdoor days and outdoor cooking every week. We serve climate-smart, locally produced meals, and our learning environments are constantly changing to meet the children's needs and interests.

Sundsvall Municipality is engaged in a development project together with David Edfeldt called "A Preschool for Everyone," where we learn together under the guidance of the special educator. How you contribute in the role of Preschool Teacher

Education and instruction in children's groups, planning, evaluation, and analysis of education, collaboration with guardians, and other tasks occurring at the preschool.

Your competence and experience

You, the applicant, have a degree as a preschool teacher. Since public transportation in the area is very limited, a driver's license and access to a car are mandatory. Education in, or interest in, outdoor pedagogy and learning with digital tools is seen as meritorious. We assume you have good knowledge of the preschool curriculum and preferably good skills in documenting, evaluating, and analyzing instruction.

We are looking for you who have the ability to take responsibility for your work and your work environment, who can collaborate well with your colleagues, and who explore the world together with the children with an open, curious mind.

Good to know

Salary: Monthly/hourly wage. Individual and differentiated salary setting is applied.

Conditions: Salary compensations beyond the monthly wage follow the applicable collective agreement. Central collective agreements can be found on the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions' website, www.skr.se
