Job Description
Your role as a residential support worker will be to work in a motivating and supportive manner together with the individual to help them manage their daily life as independently as possible. The starting point for the work is the individual's implementation plan with individual goals and sub-goals. Great importance is placed on individual development based on the individual's own prerequisites.
Social documentation and collaboration with various partners will be part of the work.
Our group home has daily activities to offer stimulation, development, meaningfulness, and community. As we have a barn with both chickens and rabbits, work with animals may occur.
The work involves being scheduled for day, evening, and night shifts, as well as weekends. Some resource trips/pool trips may also be included.
Qualifications
- Trained assistant nurse, youth leader, or other equivalent education.
- Experience with individuals with functional variations.
- Good knowledge of social documentation and awareness of current legislation.
- Category B driver's license, as bus connections may be limited.
We consider it an advantage if you have experience with challenging behavior and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
About You
As a person, we see that you take great personal responsibility in your work and are quick to rethink and think new when the situation requires it. You contribute to a good atmosphere at work and cooperate well with both colleagues and the individuals at the residence and their relatives. Having an understanding of the individuals' different prerequisites and their situation is seen as a matter of course.
Since you may occasionally encounter challenging behavior, you need to be personally calm and have a great interest and willingness to help others in a accommodating manner. Finding solutions and seeing opportunities to develop the operations is also seen as something that characterizes you.

Number of positions: 1
Employment type: Permanent employment.
Duration: Permanent, start date: according to agreement.
Interviews are planned for week 33 and week 35.
