Description

Are you interested in working within healthcare and social care this summer with us at Storfors Municipality? We are looking for individuals interested in working during the summer within support for people with disabilities (LSS). We offer a varied job where you help people in their daily lives and leisure activities. We have a need for summer substitutes between weeks 25-32, possibly longer. Introduction takes place before the substitute period begins.

Recruitment is ongoing via this advertisement. We will also host an open house on April 21st at Folketshus, Lilla Galejan, from 14:00–17:00, where different departments will be present to provide information and answer questions. Responsibilities

The work as a personal assistant consists of helping the individual with personal hygiene and household maintenance, including firewood burning and lawn mowing where applicable.

The day is structured together with the individual, who is encouraged to participate in their own life and leisure.

Responsibilities at some units also include delegated healthcare tasks from a nurse.

As a supported housing worker, you help the individual with structure in their own home.

Documentation is a requirement in the work and is done digitally.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have healthcare education or alternatively experience from care work or other experience that the employer deems advantageous.

You must be at least 18 years old and possess Swedish language skills sufficient to communicate with clients and colleagues as well as document according to operational requirements.

A Category B driver's license and access to a personal car are advantageous for commuting to/from the workplace, which may be located in rural areas.

Basic computer skills are required.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability. To fit the role, we see that you are social, empathetic, able to work independently and in a team. You should have the client's needs at the center and maintain a professional attitude towards clients, relatives, and colleagues.

Other

The work is scheduled during day/evening/night/night shifts within personal assistance, as well as weekends.

Interviews and appointments are made on an ongoing basis.

For the interview, bring your license/certification, reference contacts, and work permit if required.

Police Record Check

To work in user- and patient-facing roles, you must submit a police record extract. You must request the extract yourself from the Swedish Police Authority using the form "Extract from the Criminal Record Register" available in the form archive on the police website.
