About the Role

As a Project Leading Designer at our client's company, you are responsible for the entire chain, from project initiation to final product delivery. The role combines technical design work with clear project management responsibilities, where you drive your projects forward with a focus on quality, time, and cost.

You have an important and independent role where you own and lead your own projects. This includes planning, following up, and ensuring that projects are delivered according to set goals, including budget responsibility and financial monitoring.

In this role, you are responsible for creating technical documentation that enables efficient, safe, and high-quality production. Customer requirements and A-drawings are converted into clear drawings, specifications, and solutions adapted for production. You ensure that the solutions meet the right quality, function as intended, and are optimized for manufacturing.

You play an active and coordinating role in communication, both internally and externally. You maintain ongoing dialogue with customers and suppliers and collaborate closely with internal functions such as production.

The role is characterized by strong self-leadership with good opportunities to influence and develop working methods, focusing on creating more efficient, sustainable, and business-oriented solutions in daily work.

About You

We are looking for you who are a team player with experience in design and technical drawing creation, and who feels confident working in CAD and other technical systems. You have a good understanding of material selection, dimensioning, and how solutions need to be adapted to function efficiently in production, while also having insight into production processes and preparation work. You work in a structured and meticulous manner, and thrive in a role where you take significant personal responsibility and make technical decisions within your area. If you also have experience in project management or have worked closely with production, for example in a preparatory role or with improvement work, we consider this a merit.

As a person, you are communicative, analytical, and solution-oriented, with a clear focus on quality, and you take responsibility for both your own work and for contributing to good collaboration within the team. A driver's license is a requirement for the position.
