RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to use your digital competence to make a real difference in people's everyday lives? Do you have a pedagogical approach and enjoy meeting people where they are? Then you could be our new Digital Fixer, an important role in the work for a more digitally inclusive society.

Hammarö Municipality works actively to ensure that no one is left outside the digital society. We want to create conditions for all inhabitants to feel secure and included in an increasingly digital everyday life. As a Digital Fixer, you play a central role in this work.

In the role, you work both close to the inhabitants and together with the municipality's operations. You primarily meet people who are 75 years or older as well as people with disabilities, and support them through home visits, counseling, and education. Your task is to strengthen their digital security, independence, and inclusion. You are also part of the municipality's senior support team.

In parallel, you have an important internal assignment where you contribute to developing and strengthening digital competence in the municipality's operations. You support colleagues in the use of digital technology and welfare technology, and contribute to the development of working methods by gathering needs, following up on measures, and suggesting improvements.

Examples of tasks:

  • Support inhabitants in the installation and use of digital technology such as smartphones, tablets, computers, printers, routers, and smart TVs
  • Guide in the use of digital public services, such as 1177
  • Help get started with Mobile BankID and other digital services
  • Show how to conduct video calls
  • Support in e-commerce and ordering of, for example, medication
  • Give advice on smart home solutions
  • Conduct simpler training sessions, group meetings, or individual walkthroughs
  • Support employees in the municipality to feel secure in digital tools

As the municipality's Digital Fixer, you are part of the technical team and participate in APT, training, and other forums. If needed, you cover the alarm technician's tasks in consultation with the manager, for example, during absence.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have:

  • At least a high school diploma
  • Good digital competence and experience using various types of technology
  • Experience in teaching IT in a pedagogical and clear manner
  • Category B driver's license (manual transmission)

Meritorious:

  • Knowledge of welfare technology or digital technology within elderly care
  • Experience working with the target group

In accordance with the law on register control when working in the homes of the elderly and adults with disabilities, the person offered employment must present extracts from the criminal record and suspicion register from the Police Authority. The extracts are requested only after a job offer has been made.
