YOUR NEW JOB

Do you want to make a difference for relatives who live close to a loved one who is having a hard time for some reason? From July 1st, there is a legal requirement for municipalities to have strengthened measures for people who care for or support relatives. The support can be individual conversations, discussion groups, education, and information campaigns. As a Relatives Consultant, you will help build up the operations.

You will, among other things:

• develop strategies, action plans, and guidelines in the area
• develop collaboration between operations as well as with the region, civil society, and other actors
• support managers and key persons in the work of integrating the relative perspective into operations
• contribute to forms of dialogue and participation together with relatives
• lead groups, hold information and educational initiatives, arrange activities for relatives, and conduct individual support conversations

Some evening duty will occur. There may be some possibility of remote work and commuting time work if and when the operations allow. The position will involve building up operations and creating relationships/collaboration, which is best done on-site.

YOUR COMPETENCE

We are looking for you who want to work with people who need different kinds of support. Collaborating with those we serve and with various partners is seen by you as natural and fundamental. You are independent and structured in your work and take responsibility for your task. You have the ability to drive development and think new thoughts. You also have the ability to adapt your work when conditions change.

We are looking for you who have relevant higher education, such as social worker, behavioral scientist, or other education deemed suitable. You need to have good knowledge of legislation within social services and healthcare. You should have broad experience and knowledge of different target groups such as LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), mental ill health, harmful use and addiction, children, and the elderly. You should also have experience of meeting relatives with a good understanding of their situation.

It is positive if you have experience of carrying out change work and/or project management. You have good knowledge of society's functions and find it easy to seek the information required. You express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. If you have additional language skills, state this in your application.

REQUIREMENTS

• Class B driver's license
• Relevant higher education
• Experience in social work
• For this position, you must present a valid extract from the Police's criminal record and suspicion register before employment.
