About Us

Healthcare and Care in Norrtälje (KSON) is a unique collaboration between Norrtälje Municipality and Region Stockholm. Our mission is to meet the residents' needs for healthcare and social care. KSON therefore has unique prerequisites for seamlessly meeting the residents' needs for effective holistic solutions and is governed by a board with elected officials from Region Stockholm and Norrtälje Municipality. KSON has agreements with many providers and also runs care and social services in-house through the wholly-owned company Tiohundra AB. The budget envelope amounts to approximately 4.8 billion SEK, and we currently have about 120 employees with primarily purchaser, owner, and authority assignments within the administration.

Case Worker for Healthcare and Care in Norrtälje (3 positions)

At Healthcare and Care in Norrtälje, you will be part of an organization where development, innovation, and collaboration permeate the entire administration. We are in the midst of an exciting change process where we together develop case handling processes, working methods, and digital solutions – with a clear focus on the residents' needs and the value we create.

We are now looking for three case workers for the Department for Individual Support and Preventive Measures. Some of our colleagues have recently moved on to new assignments within the administration, which we see as a sign of our strong development culture and the opportunities available here.

About the Workplace

The Department for Individual Support and Preventive Measures consists of approximately 80 employees, a department manager, an assistant department manager, and five unit managers. The department primarily works with authority exercises and case handling according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). The department is also responsible for handling travel and national travel services, as well as the implementation of contact persons and support family measures.

We are part of the Municipal Association Healthcare and Care in Norrtälje, where our common vision is that residents should have good health. For us, this means that all development work starts from the residents' needs and the value we create for those we serve.

We are in an active development process where we together build a sustainable and modern social service. The focus is on developing case handling processes, strengthening collaboration, improving working methods, and utilizing digital opportunities – with the goal of creating increased independence, security, and quality for the residents.

Qualifications

To succeed in this fun and challenging work, it is a requirement that you have a degree in social work or another related higher education qualification that the employer assesses as equivalent.

We would like you to have experience of working within social services and authority exercises. It is an advantage if you have experience of case handling according to both SoL and LSS.

As a person, you have personal maturity and integrity, and you dare to stand by your assessments. You are quality-conscious and service-oriented, work carefully, and take responsibility for ensuring tasks are carried out correctly.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a changing organization. You have a curious approach, contribute ideas, and see possibilities for improvement in daily work. You are flexible, proactive, and see challenges as something positive to be solved – both independently and together with others.

You have good computer skills and express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Since the municipality is large in area, you must have a driver's license.

Employment Type: Permanent position

Scope: Full-time

Start Date: By agreement

For this role, the starting salary is normally between 35,000 - 45,000 SEK depending on experience and competence.

A probationary period may apply for permanent positions.
