Our expansion is driven by a clear need in the sector: competent accountants who can strengthen public operations in change, ensure quality, and contribute to societal benefit. You will be employed by Genero but will work on-site at the client's location. For some assignments, it is also possible to work as a sub-consultant for us.
Introduction
Do you want to be part of an operation that is a prerequisite for society to function? Do you want to help make sustainable travel the norm? We are looking for you, whose leadership is characterized by a high degree of goal-orientation and the ability to look beyond the immediate details in a operation-driven business and see the bigger picture. In the role of Department Manager, we offer a challenging and rewarding assignment in an operation characterized by a strong commitment to ensuring sustainable travel from all perspectives for those who need a little extra service on their journey with public transport.
The Operation
On-demand traffic is responsible for procuring and coordinating the services needed to offer travel opportunities for those who need a little extra service to travel or for those living in areas without scheduled public transport. The majority of trips in on-demand traffic are service trips and are performed by Västtrafik through procured partners on behalf of and in cooperation with the Region of Västra Götaland and 45 municipalities. Service trips refer to transport services for people with disabilities, school taxi, and medical transport taxi. The On-demand Traffic operation has approximately 20 employees and consists of the Traffic Department, the Municipality & Region Department, and support functions.
Requirements
The Role
In the role of Department Manager Traffic, you are responsible for procuring, establishing, monitoring, and developing traffic services together with your employees. As Department Manager, you are responsible for ensuring and developing business relations with procured partners, as well as being responsible for the department's operational and strategic activities and the development of the group and its working methods. You drive our operations forward together with your employees, your colleagues responsible for the other department, and support functions in the On-demand Traffic operation, other functions within the organization, procured partners, and other actors in the industry.
You ensure continuous monitoring and development of the procured services within the framework of Traffic Agreements as well as Customer and Reset Service Agreements, and ensure that the department acts to achieve the goal of sustainable On-demand Traffic for all parties. You are part of the On-demand Traffic strategic coordination group and are thus involved in the overall strategic business and personnel planning. You have personnel responsibility for 8 employees.
Who are you?
Our employees are different. All are needed. We know that differences enrich us and make us better.
