Project Manager within TiSK – Mental Health and Suicide Prevention

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who want to drive development and create conditions for better and more equitable mental health as well as strengthened suicide prevention work. You have a university education in public health or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have the ability to see the big picture, are development-oriented, and thrive in a role where you get to combine strategic work with operational implementation. With your good leadership skills, you have the ability to engage, coordinate, and drive the work forward together with others. You work independently and structured, while also being good at collaborating and building trusting relationships. We see that you have experience leading work groups and driving development work at a strategic level. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and feel confident presenting, educating, and communicating to different target groups. You have a listening and professional approach and are accustomed to collaborating with both internal and external actors. A B-class driver's license is a requirement for the position as car driving may occur.

In the role as Project Manager within TiSK, you will have a meaningful and varied assignment where you work both strategically and close to people in their daily lives. The position primarily involves developing and driving the local work with mental health and suicide prevention, but in the role, you will also work with cross-boundary work within strategic public health work.

The position is mainly located during daytime on weekdays, but varying working hours in the evenings may occur, for example, if a lecture needs to be scheduled in the evening to reach more people.

In collaboration with colleagues and independently, you will:

  • Plan, implement, follow up, and report within the project
  • Gather, analyze, convey, and spread knowledge to employees and residents
  • Map needs and carry out activities based on the national strategy "It's About Life" to strengthen the work with mental health and suicide prevention.
  • Develop and be responsible for dialogue with authorities, municipalities, regions, and civil society to identify needs for knowledge support, coordinate efforts, and ensure target group adaptation through co-creation processes.
  • Represent the area and present knowledge at conferences and meetings, as well as participate in strategic and proactive promotion and prevention work.
  • Participate in network and work groups and contribute to the general development work of the activity.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements for employment

  • We are looking for you who have a Bachelor's degree in public health, social sciences, behavioral sciences, or equivalent education.
  • Knowledge and experience of work in the field of mental health and suicide prevention, with a special focus on promotion and prevention work.
  • You should be comfortable speaking in front of people and leading processes.
  • A B-class driver's license is a requirement.

Merits

  • Experience of independently and strategically working with investigations or development projects within the field of public health, for example, at an authority or within a municipality or region.
  • Previously worked in or in collaboration with a user organization or similar for people with their own experience of mental ill health.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: By agreement.

The position is a project position, fixed-term employment with an end date of December 31, 2028, but with the possibility of extension.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the obligation to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after control of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
