Ersta Elderly Care is part of Ersta Diaconia and operates a total of eight elderly care facilities in Stockholm and Uppsala. Our goal is to provide our residents with a secure and content-rich daily life, featuring activities, community, and good, enjoyable meals. At our facilities, everyone should feel at home!

Ersta Mariahemmet is an elderly care facility with 83 apartments spread across nine units, five of which are dementia units and four are somatic units. Ersta Mariahemmet is located a short walk from the Sandsborg metro station in Enskededalen. Nearby, you will find a small center with a grocery store, library, swimming pool, pharmacy, hairdresser, and seasonal market. It is also close to green areas, and adjacent to the facility is a lush, green courtyard where we grill, listen to music, and enjoy coffee with freshly baked goods.

We are now looking for experienced staff members who wish to work night shifts at our facility.

About the role

At our facility, care for the individual is always at the center. As a staff member, you help create a secure, dignified, and meaningful daily life for the residents. You do this by providing personal care, support, and presence, tailored to each individual's needs, wishes, and life situation.

You work closely with the residents in their daily lives – from care and practical support to conversations, community, and small moments that make a big difference. Together with colleagues, leaders, and relatives, you contribute to an environment characterized by security, respect, and care, where meaningful activities, pleasant meals, and nice encounters are a natural part of the day.

We are looking for staff for the period of June to August, with the possibility of extension. To be considered, you must be able to work at least four consecutive weeks during the summer.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a great interest in working with people, and especially with the elderly. You are curious, engaged, and have an easy time seeing and understanding the needs of others. You enjoy taking responsibility and find it easy to talk and collaborate with your colleagues. You have a professional attitude towards your work and are good at building trusting relationships.

Your experience

We are looking for you who have:

• experience working in elderly care
• good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• good computer skills

We view it positively if you are trained as a nursing assistant, but it is not a requirement.
