A winter in Tänndalen is more than a job. It’s mornings in freshly groomed runs, full speed at the resort during the day, and a team that experiences the season together.

We are looking for you who want to help create experiences for our guests – and at the same time get the most out of your own winter.

As a snow groomer, you are part of our grooming team, which is collectively responsible for grooming the runs in our ski system. Your tasks include grooming slopes, building terrain parks, and performing basic maintenance on the machines. Since grooming takes place when the resort is closed, working hours vary between 16:00–09:00, seven days a week. In Tänndalen, we receive great praise for our beautiful slopes, and you play a key role in creating a truly excellent alpine product for our guests.

We are looking for someone with documented experience operating snow groomers and/or large machinery, along with at least a Category B driver’s license. You must also have a valid snowmobile operator’s certificate at the start of employment. You likely have significant experience skiing/snowboarding and understand what our guests value on the slopes.

As a person, you are responsible, unpretentious, and accustomed to working collaboratively. You thrive working independently while understanding the bigger picture and being open to feedback. We place great value on your attitude towards the role and the responsibility/respect you show for the mountain and the machinery.

Tänndalen is a cozy mountain and ski resort in western Härjedalen. But Tänndalen is so much more than just a place. There is a special atmosphere here, a feeling that is hard to put into words. Every winter, four to five meters of natural snow fall over the ski area, which stretches through the entire valley from Hamra in the west to Svansjön in the east. The alpine ski system in Tänndalen offers a total of 54 varied runs, both above and below the tree line. Always soft, rolling, and well-groomed. In Tänndalen, you will find ski rental and a sports shop, three children’s areas, two snow parks, and eight restaurants/cafés. What all the restaurants have in common is high quality and inspiration from the mountain’s taste traditions.
