Our properties – churches, parish halls, and operational spaces – are a central part of both our heritage and our future. We are now looking for you who want to take a key role in developing, analyzing, and leading our facility management work into the future.

About the Role

As Project Manager for Facility Management, you will have a comprehensive and developmental assignment where you work closely with the Property Manager, Cemetery Manager, and the Property Committee. The position is a fixed-term employment with a clear strategic focus and great opportunity to influence.

You will become a driving force in the work of driving and coordinating the parish's long-term facility management process, mapping and analyzing current facilities as well as future needs. Your task is also to produce clear, well-founded, and comparable decision support materials for the Parish Council, where operational needs, economy, cultural-historical values, and sustainability are weighed together.

The role is central in a complex work where operational development, economy, and long-term responsibility meet. To solve the task, you need knowledge and understanding of the operations conducted in our parishes. Your work contributes directly to creating sustainable, functional, and cost-effective environments for both today's and tomorrow's operations.

Why does the position exist?

Within the Church of Sweden, work is ongoing to reduce and adapt property holdings. For Sydöstra Jämtlands Parish, this means a comprehensive change process, where a well-anchored facility management plan is crucial.

The Parish is now making an investment to further develop and implement our facility management plan by expanding the operations with two fixed-term positions, one of which is this position. The purpose is to increase our capacity to work in a structured, strategic, and long-term manner.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who thrive in the borderland between strategy and practice, who like to keep complex processes together, and who have the ability to see the big picture without losing the details. You are analytical, communicative, and confident in leading works where many interests meet. You work in a structured manner and enjoy working together with others, even if you largely drive your own work forward. You have an interest in sustainability, long-term solutions, and social benefit, and have relevant education for the tasks. You have a B-driver's license and access to a car.

You likely have:

• Experience of project management, strategic development work, and/or facility management.
• Experience in producing decision support materials for management or political bodies.
• Experience from property, public sector, church organization, or cultural-historical environments is meritorious – but most important is your ability to drive processes and create clarity.
