In this collective advertisement, we are looking for dedicated assistant nurses for several of Uppsala Municipality's home care areas. With us, you will have an independent, varied, and meaningful job, close to people, every day. As an assistant nurse with us, you work in the clients' homes. It is important that you enjoy moving between different homes and meeting people in various life situations. The work is varied and consists of both care interventions and practical tasks. You work days and evenings, as well as every other weekend. To get between clients, you need to be able to cycle year-round. We provide well-equipped and well-maintained bicycles so that you can travel safely and securely even in poor weather.

Your responsibilities

As an assistant nurse, you will provide personal care and help clients with meals, hygiene, cleaning, and shopping. You will also perform delegated tasks from licensed staff and document according to current legislation and routines. The role also involves being a support for both clients and relatives, as well as contributing to good and professional collaboration within the work team.

Qualifications

Requirements for the position:

• Trained assistant nurse
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speaking, writing, listening, and reading comprehension
• Ability to cycle in all weather conditions

Merits for the position:

• Category B driver's license
• Current experience working in care, preferably elderly care

As of July 1, 2023, "assistant nurse" is a protected job title. To use the title assistant nurse, you must provide proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate that you were permanently employed as an assistant nurse on July 1, 2023.
