We have close cooperation with leading Swedish researchers regarding teaching development in preschool, primary school, and adult education. We are bold and test new innovative ideas such as VR in teaching. We consider movement in both new construction, development of outdoor environments, and offer movement analysis to our staff. We carry out early interventions together with social services and have a joint mobile team to help students with problematic absenteeism. We follow up on goal fulfillment for real and act on our results. We work to become skilled in trust-based leadership and have close leadership with few employees per manager.
Åkarp has 5 schools distributed across 3 school units from preschool to grade 9. We are looking for you who are interested in participating in and contributing to our successful work. Since both you and the students have personal digital tools, and there is a projector in every classroom, there are opportunities to use modern pedagogy where technology supports students' learning.
We are looking for you who are trained as a primary school teacher with subject competence in textile crafts or in the entire craft subject. You have adequate knowledge in the use of digital tools and are interested in working with student-active teaching strategies.
You should have your heart in the right place and at the same time have a professional approach and be flexible and receptive to both children and parents. You should be able to use a solution-focused approach and have the ability to bring out the trust of students and parents. We place great value on your engagement, your pedagogical competence, and your ability to create good relationships. The psychosocial working environment should be built on openness, collaboration, and curiosity.
