Your Role

As a teacher for grades 7–9, you will teach English and German and be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching with a focus on students' knowledge development. You will create structure, engagement, and clarity in the classroom and contribute to making the languages understandable, relevant, and useful.

At Fridaskolan, mentoring is an important part of the role. You will build relationships with students over time, follow their development, and maintain close dialogue with guardians. We believe that students develop best when they are met by adults who both set demands and genuinely care.

We want to bridge the gap between school and reality. Therefore, it is natural for you to sometimes move learning outside the classroom through camps, study visits, collaborations, and meetings with the outside world, making teaching lively and relevant. We are looking for employees who take initiative, spark interest and curiosity, and want to be where the students are.

You will work closely with your work team and other colleagues and actively contribute to the school's development. Here, we share responsibility for the students' entire school day and believe in the power of doing things together.
