We are now looking for dedicated Speech Therapists for a flexible part-time position in primary schools in Borlänge, Hedemora, and Ludvika

About the assignment
Bemannia is an authorized staffing company with 35 years of experience in staffing and recruitment. We currently have agreements with, among others, Borlänge, Hedemora, and Ludvika to support their municipal primary schools and upper secondary schools with dedicated substitutes.

Your responsibilities

In the role of a Speech Therapist, you will conduct speech therapy assessments of students with linguistic, communicative, and speech-related difficulties. You will support work on language, speech, and reading development in teaching, provide recommendations and action plans related to pedagogical support and accessible learning environments, and work health-promoting and preventive, e.g., by developing language-strengthening methods in learning environments.

You will collaborate in student health teams and contribute speech therapy expertise to interdisciplinary work. You will cooperate with guardians regarding the child's linguistic development and needs, and collaborate with external actors, e.g., Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), habilitation services, and speech therapy clinics.

You will document interventions according to school routines, contribute materials for pedagogical assessments, and participate in the school's systematic quality work, particularly related to language, reading, and writing development.

Your qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
• Licensed profession – license issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen).
• At least 2 years of work experience in similar roles
