About the Role

We are currently looking for a Senior Material Buyer for a technology-intensive company experiencing strong growth. Our client is an innovative player in advanced software and hardware development, focusing on data-driven systems and high-performance solutions for demanding environments. The company operates internationally and is in an exciting expansion phase where robust supply chains and strategic purchasing are crucial for continued success. The assignment begins as a consultancy role with very good opportunities for conversion to direct employment with our client after your probation period. The assignment is expected to start in August.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will hold a central position, working closely with development, production, and procurement. You will be responsible for ensuring long-term access to critical components in a business where technical level, quality, and reliability are paramount. Your tasks include:

• Strategic and long-term purchasing of electronic components as well as computer components such as memory and storage solutions
• Collaboration with operational purchasing to ensure material availability
• Support to R&D regarding purchasing, component selection, and alternative solutions
• Close collaboration with production and reporting to the Production Manager

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is confident in their skills and thrives in an environment where you take significant responsibility and drive issues forward. We would like you to have:

• Documented experience of at least 5 years in a similar role within strategic purchasing of electronic or technical components
• Good technical understanding of electronics
• Experience in supply chain, strategic purchasing, or related areas
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• A flexible and solution-oriented approach in changing environments
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally between technology, purchasing, and production
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
