ValueOne is looking for a Purchasing Manager within Industrial Services for a consultancy assignment with a leading company in the energy sector operating in northern Uppland. The position is planned to be filled in August.

About the role

As a Purchasing Manager, you will work with the procurement of industrial services related to operations, maintenance, and inspection. You will handle the ordering of contracting services within areas such as mechanical maintenance, radiation protection, and technical consulting services. The role also involves elements of tactical purchasing where you conduct requests for quotations, evaluate alternatives, and ensure commercial decisions are made for purchases outside framework agreements.

The role includes close collaboration with internal requesters and the project organization, as well as ongoing contact with suppliers. You work broadly within the purchasing process and contribute to ensuring quality, delivery, and cost-efficiency in daily operations.

Main responsibilities

• Order and purchase industrial services within maintenance, inspection, and technology
• Handle requests for quotations and review and compare quotes
• Ensure deliveries in collaboration with internal requesters and suppliers
• Manage purchases outside framework agreements as well as supplementary orders
• Work with invoice management and invoice control
• Follow up on suppliers regarding delivery, quality, and cost
• Contribute to an efficient purchasing process through structure and collaboration

Experience and competence

We are looking for you with experience in purchasing, preferably within industry, energy, or other technical operations. It is an advantage if you have worked with service purchasing such as contracting or consulting services and are accustomed to working closely with operations.

You communicate fluently in Swedish and have a good understanding of English. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of contract forms and standards such as ABK 09 and AMA/NU within contracting and consulting procurement.

As a person, you are structured, business-minded, and thrive in a role with many contact points. You are self-motivated and solution-oriented, and have the ability to handle a high pace while working meticulously with details such as quotes and invoices.
