ValueOne is looking for an Outbound Planner with experience in customer order management for a consultancy assignment with a manufacturing company in Gästrikland, Sweden. The assignment is expected to start in September and will run for a minimum of 6 months with the possibility of extension.

About the role

Our client needs to strengthen their planning organization with an Outbound Planner who will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient order management. The role serves as the link between the company's production facilities, marketing companies, distributors, and external customers.

Main responsibilities:

• Ensure that customer orders are released and handled correctly in the company's business system.
• Coordinate the order flow and follow up on order and delivery status.
• Handle deviations in the order flow, such as incorrect information, stopped orders, or missing items.
• Communicate with internal functions and external parties to resolve obstacles in order management.
• Correct and update orders, addresses, and other delivery details as needed.
• Follow up on open and older orders and drive them to completion.
• Support improvement work related to order flow and logistics processes.

Experience and Competence

To be considered for the Outbound Planner role, you have a few years of experience in customer order management and communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Good knowledge of Swedish is advantageous but not a requirement. Post-secondary education in purchasing, industrial economics, or similar is meritorious. It is advantageous if you are accustomed to working in a global organization and have knowledge of SAP S/4HANA as well as planning systems such as Logility Voyager or similar systems.

We are looking for someone who is analytical, communicative, and service-oriented. You have good collaboration skills and are skilled at building relationships with stakeholders internally and externally.
