ValueOne is looking for a Procurement Specialist IM&S / Services, Consultants and External Resources for a client in the life science industry for an interim consultancy assignment. The position is full-time and located as agreed with the client. The start date is to be agreed upon, and the assignment initially runs for 6 months, with the ambition that the role will transition into a permanent employment with the client thereafter.

About the Role

As a Procurement Specialist within IM&S / Services, Consultants and External Resources, you work closely with the business and have broad responsibility for indirect procurement categories, including services, consultants, and external resources. The role combines operational and tactical elements and aims to support the business throughout the entire procurement flow – from need identification and supplier dialogue to contracts, PO management, and follow-up.

• Support internal stakeholders and requesters with procurement matters related to services, consultants, and external resources
• Manage and follow up on procurement needs within IM&S and indirect spend
• Conduct supplier dialogues, request for quotations (RFQs), comparisons, and simple negotiations
• Ensure that purchases are made in accordance with contracts, internal guidelines, and current processes
• Support onboarding and follow-up of suppliers and consultants
• Manage and follow up on Purchase Orders, open orders, delivery confirmations, and discrepancies
• Collaborate with finance and controlling functions regarding accruals, invoices, budget monitoring, and closing
• Monitor supplier performance, costs, spend, and contract terms
• Contribute to the improvement of procurement processes, working methods, reporting, and system support
• Support the business with matters related to compliance, documentation, and contract archiving
• Prepare decision support materials, spend analyses, and presentation materials

Experience and Competence

We are looking for you with approximately 3–7 years of procurement experience, with documented experience in indirect procurement within IM&S, services, consultants, external resources, and/or professional services in a medium-sized or larger organization. You have excellent knowledge of Excel, good system familiarity from ERP environments, fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing, as well as an understanding of purchase-to-pay flows, contract management, and commercial follow-up.

As a person, you are service-oriented, structured, and communicative – confident in contact with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers – while also being self-reliant, unpretentious, and thriving on driving multiple parallel issues at a high pace.
