Imagine being part of creating something completely new – a residence where every day is filled with warmth, care, and quality of life. Now is your chance! In October/November 2026, we will open the doors to the group home Hagabergsslingan 2A located in Marieberg, and we welcome you if you want to make a difference every day. We look forward to your application!

About the position

The newly built group home Hagabergsslingan 2A will be located in the new villa area in Marieberg, which is currently under construction. The group home will have 6 apartments where service recipients aged 20–40 will live. Naturally, not all tenants will move in at the same time; this will happen in different stages to create the best possible conditions.

We are now looking for a number of engaged and motivated support assistants who want to help shape the new residence. Starting up a completely new operation places high demands on us as providers. Therefore, you need to be a proactive, initiative-taking, and responsible person. Furthermore, you should enjoy challenges, have a solution-focused approach, and be willing to go the extra mile.

As a support assistant, you will have a varied job where you support the service recipients in various daily tasks, such as morning and evening routines, cooking, laundry, and cleaning. You will accompany them on leisure activities such as swimming, table tennis, and dancing. You have tutor responsibility, create weekly plans, and collaborate with external contacts such as day activities, relatives, guardians, and various healthcare contacts. You believe in everyone's right to steer their own lives, and therefore you always work with the service recipient's participation and self-determination in focus.

Building a new residence is both exciting and developmental, and sometimes also challenging. Here you get to be involved from the beginning and influence the operation based on your experience and engagement. We really look forward to welcoming you to our new team!

Examples of tasks:

  • Develop action plans and routines for the new residence.
  • Support the service recipient in daily activities and occupations in a pedagogical way.
  • Documentation.
  • Perform care tasks and, based on delegation, certain medication management.
  • Establish and follow up on implementation plans.
  • Perform service tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, etc.
  • Collaborate with relatives and others in the service recipient's network, nurses, occupational therapists, and other actors such as the region.
