HELLO!

I am a young man living in my own apartment in Örebro, and I am now looking for one or more personal assistants who want to become part of my daily life. I am hearing and understand spoken Swedish, but I primarily use sign language to communicate. I also prefer that my assistants are hearing, but sign language is very important to me. Fluency is not a requirement, but you should have basic knowledge of sign language or a strong desire to learn so that you can support me in my communication.

I am interested in film, music, cooking, and exercise such as strength training and swimming. I would be happy if you share some of my interests. For me, routines and structure are very important for me to manage my daily life and feel well.

You will be employed by Vivida Assistans, my assistance company, but you will perform the work at my home.

• Can put themselves in my situation and provide support in a respectful manner
• Has the ability to wait for me in communication, both with you and with others
• Has basic knowledge of sign language or a strong desire to learn
• Has a driver's license
• Is a competent swimmer
• Is not allergic to dogs

Experience with autism is an advantage.

WHAT A TYPICAL WORKDAY MIGHT LOOK LIKE

I need your support with daily contact and communication with other people, as well as household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking. I take care of my personal hygiene myself. You will accompany me to my work during the day and be supportive in my daily life and leisure time.

We cook and eat meals together; if you have any allergies, it is important that you mention them in your application.

HOURS AND PERCENTAGE OF EMPLOYMENT

Preferably overnight shifts from 16:00 to 16:00. Occasional day shifts from 08:00 to 16:00 occur. We are looking for someone who can work 50-100%. We are also looking for someone who can work extra when needed.

WHEN CAN YOU START WORKING FOR ME?

I need a new assistant starting from 2026-07-01, so it is good if you can start then. Otherwise, we can agree on another date if we feel we are a good match!

YOUR SALARY

At Vivida, you as an assistant receive a fixed base hourly wage + holiday pay and any applicable shift allowance. Collective agreements apply.
