We are looking for personal assistants for one of our clients in Laxå. We offer a part-time position as well as an hourly position that can support the work group during the summer when regular staff is on holiday. The role also involves stepping in as needed starting now. Since the client is moving to Örebro from August, we would prefer that you are already part of the team at the time of the move.

A requirement for working in this group is that you have experience from similar work and/or healthcare education. As an assistant to Sebastian, who is 7 years old, you work all hours of the day and night and accompany him wherever he is, including at school.

The duties of a personal assistant include daily hygiene, dressing and undressing, play, activation, training, and helping him do as much as possible for a child of his age. Our client has a feeding tube, requires inhalation, and has epilepsy.

You will be offered pleasant colleagues and an active client who truly appreciates their assistants and enjoys finding new things to do. It is important that you enjoy walking, as Sebastian really likes being outdoors. You may also accompany him on excursions, using local transport.

You will receive individualized introduction and training in all aspects regarding the client's care needs and routines. You need to be flexible regarding working hours – we are there for our client and for each other.

The Assistant's Role and Experience

It is important that you speak and write Swedish fluently, as communication is a vital part of working with the client. Experience working with children and insight into epilepsy and tube feeding are advantageous. As Sebastian's assistant, you play a very important role and become a significant person in his life! It is crucial to be alert, attentive, and not afraid to act when required.

As a person, you are creative, active, and have a natural pedagogical talent. We also see that you enjoy teaching things and repeating/practicing the same thing many times!

Advantageous Experience

• Experience from work in healthcare/care.
• Experience with epilepsy.
• Experience with tube feeding.

Requirements

• Swedish language skills (spoken and written).
• Swimming proficiency.
• Experience in similar work.

Working Hours/Employment Degree

• Start immediately or as agreed.
• A part-time position.
• An hourly position as needed, which can be expanded to a part-time position over time.
• Shifts are available during all hours of the day, including active night shifts.

• We apply salary according to the Fremia Collective Agreement.
