Would you thrive in working with system support in a solution-oriented and flexible manner, in close dialogue with operations? Then the position of Healthcare System Coordinator might be for you.

Our Operations

We hope that you want to contribute to societal benefit and create an operation that works for the patient's best interest.

The Healthcare System Coordination within the Patient and Healthcare System Support unit is looking for a new employee with an interest in system support and operational development focused on healthcare systems.

The unit offers operationally close support within healthcare systems to private and public primary care, as well as to private specialists working in the region's medical record system, Cosmic. We support all operations within Close Care and Health, as well as the municipalities when using Cosmic Link.

Region Uppsala is in a development phase regarding digitalization, e-health, and e-services – a process where our unit plays an important and active role.

Your Role

In the role of Healthcare System Coordinator, you have a central function in ensuring well-functioning support to the operations within the region's healthcare systems. The work involves daily support, troubleshooting, and measures, as well as contributing to the development of working methods and system usage.

The assignment also involves continuously informing operations about news, changes, disruptions, and planned system work. The role requires that you are up-to-date, proactive, and have the ability to stay ahead of users' needs.

Support is primarily provided via telephone and through the region's case management system, Easit, but visits to healthcare providers also occur. The work also includes system administration, such as assigning permissions in the healthcare systems used within operations.

The assignment includes representing the healthcare providers we have support responsibility for in healthcare system matters, participating in or leading healthcare-related projects, and serving as a key link between the operation's users and the central system administration.

Your Qualifications

You have experience working in the healthcare systems used within Region Uppsala and/or from operations within primary care, open specialist care, or habilitation. Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing is a prerequisite for the assignment. Previous experience in user support, support functions, or similar roles is meritorious.

Your Competence

We are looking for you who are driven, engaged, initiative-taking, and have a genuine interest in the interaction between systems, processes, and operations. You understand the importance of structure, standardization, and documentation. You are inquisitive and curious, take responsibility for your tasks, and have the ability to work independently. You also collaborate well with others and contribute to a positive work climate and good team spirit.

You have a service-oriented and solution-oriented approach, as well as the ability to be flexible and adapt to changed needs and conditions in operations.

We Offer

We offer you a permanent position with a well-planned introduction and continuous competence development based on the assignment's needs.

With us, you receive benefits that make a difference; read about the benefits here: Region Uppsala Benefits (https://regionuppsala.se/formaner/).
