One of the Army Staff's focus areas is building the new army. An army that focuses on the army's operational capability. This means building new units as well as restructuring existing ones. At the same time, the Army Staff leads units both nationally and internationally. The Army Staff develops and production-leads combat units within the army, as well as subordinate organizational units consisting of units and schools.
Combined with the continued establishment of the Army Staff as a cohesive and unifying force, the tasks are highly varied, developmental, and dynamic. We are all solution-focused and approach our duties and responsibilities with great commitment, where everything for the army is our driving force.

Main Responsibilities
As an Infrastructure Administrator, you are placed on the Infrastructure Section, which falls under the Production Planning Division of the Planning Unit. The unit consists of four additional divisions and the unit management. You are responsible for tasks within the framework of infrastructure, i.e., planning, implementation, follow-up, evaluation, and coordination of the army's land area, facility, premises, and building operations. Your duties also include continuously improving and developing the infrastructure process. The work involves extensive contact with the army's 20 units and with the Headquarters in the handling of infrastructure matters.
As an Infrastructure Administrator, your duties include among other things
- Receive and prepare incoming cases
- Support with background material for assessment of incoming cases
- Convey answers and decisions in our internal case system
- Participate in meetings and collaborate with other Infrastructure Administrators at the Army Staff and other units
- Provide support in the Army Staff's project to establish new units
- Provide support in the army's growth regarding new combat units and basic organization
- Actively train and acquire new education and information
Qualifications
- University degree in societal planning, real estate, and/or infrastructure, or other competence that the employer deems equivalent
- Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Class B driver's license
Desirable
- Experience working with national interests
- Experience within the Swedish Defence Forces' business management and infrastructure
- Current or previous position as a planning architect or equivalent
- Current or previous work with comprehensive and detailed plans
- Experience of similar work in the public sector
- Knowledge of the SAP system (PRIO)

Terms of Employment
The form of employment requires approved security clearance. The Army Staff is a combat unit, which means you will be war-placed and are therefore expected to be able to operate across the entire readiness scale (peace, crisis, war). This also means you may be assigned to overseas service. You should also expect to maintain readiness during certain periods. As a civilian employee, you will undergo combatant training to fulfill your role as war-placed personnel.
