About the position

As a nurse in municipal health and medical care, you will have an independent and varied job where you are responsible for both planned and urgent interventions. You meet patients in their home environment and are responsible for patients in ordinary housing, care and nursing homes, as well as within functional support services.

You play a central role in coordinating care around the patient and work closely with other professions to create safe and person-centered care. Occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and assistant nurses are attached to the operations. Collaboration also takes place with social secretaries, doctors, specialist teams, care staff, and managers.

To meet future needs, we use digital solutions such as digital signatures, planning tools, and medication dispensers.

We are looking for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, making independent decisions, and seeing the value of close collaboration with colleagues and other professions.

About the workplace

The Health and Medical Care Unit brings together all licensed professions in the municipality, creating good conditions for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and support in daily work. We have common and spacious premises with close proximity to all professions.

The operations also include preventive training groups in collaboration between health care and the social services unit.

Your closest partners will be nurses, rehabilitation staff, care staff, managers, and planning coordinators who work together from a person-centered perspective.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good ability to work independently and take initiative
• Is easy to collaborate with and create good relationships
• Is flexible and can adapt interventions based on individual needs
• Thrives in person-centered work and collaboration with other professions

Meritorious

• Experience in municipal health and medical care
• Experience in psychiatry or other specialist fields
• Experience in collaboration between different professions
