We are now looking for a Quality Engineer with a focus on purchased materials and production-proximity quality work.

You will become part of Procurement Quality within Saab Dynamics – an organization with strong technical competence, clear responsibilities, and a shared mission to deliver products where quality, safety, and reliability are crucial.

Your role

In this role, you will support production with quality issues related to purchased materials. You work operationally and solution-oriented in your daily tasks, ensuring that deviations are handled correctly and efficiently to minimize the impact on production and delivery.

The role is internal in nature and involves close collaboration with production, purchasing, design, and supplier quality.

Examples of tasks:

• Support production in the quality assessment of purchased materials
• Handle material deviations in the production environment
• Drive claims and root cause analyses in collaboration with suppliers and Supplier Quality
• Ensure that corrective and preventive actions are identified and followed up
• Participate in and drive improvement work related to quality, processes, and flows
• Contribute to the development and improvement of quality routines and working methods
• Collaborate closely with production, purchasing, design, and other quality functions

Your profile

• Relevant academic degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in quality work in production or industrial environments
• Good understanding of deviation management, root cause analysis, 8D, and risk analyses
• Detail-oriented, structured, and solution-oriented
• Thrives in an operational role with many contact points
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
