Tingsbrogården is a dementia care facility located in a natural setting in Bro parish, approximately one mile northeast of Visby. The facility has four wards with eight residents per ward, as well as beautiful outdoor environments. We work with individualized implementation plans where the individual's needs are at the center (IBIC).

We are now looking for a new employee for the night shift who, with interest and commitment, wants to be part of our journey forward, where we will meet tomorrow's needs with new working methods.

Your responsibilities

As a nursing assistant at Tingsbrogården, you will work together with your colleagues to motivate and stimulate the elderly to maintain their habits and routines through a rehabilitative approach. You will perform standard care tasks with the interventions the elderly person needs in their daily life, such as personal care, medication administration, delegated HSL (Health and Social Care Act) interventions, household chores, and support based on the user's needs.

You work nights and, on occasional occasions, also evenings, for example during workplace meetings (APT).

The salary range for nursing assistants in specialized housing is 29,400 – 34,000 SEK/month.

Who are you?

We are primarily looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant. To be employed as a nursing assistant, you must have the right to use the protected professional title according to current regulations.

We would prefer that you have previously worked in the care profession and/or elderly care, and that you have experience with night work.

As a person, you are confident in yourself and in your professional role, and you maintain your calm even in pressured situations while keeping a high service level. You are flexible and have the ability to adapt to changed circumstances. You are development-oriented and have a curiosity to constantly learn and improve your work. With good teamwork skills, a strong service focus, and pedagogical insight, you build trusting relationships and communicate in a clear and inclusive manner.

It is important that you are confident in the Swedish language, both in speech and writing, as all communication and documentation take place in Swedish.
