We are looking for a highly skilled CAD Mechanical Engineer with strong automotive experience to join our development team. This role focuses on Interior engineering within a fast-paced automotive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and release 3D/2D CAD models using CATIA V5 (highly recommended deep knowledge in both surface- and solid workbench).
  • Design and optimize interior parts for the interior room and interior trim area.
  • Ensure manufacturability, feasibility, and alignment with engineering standards.
  • Support cross-functional teams throughout the development cycle.
  • Manage CAD data, drawings, and release processes in relevant systems.
  • Ensure correct status in Mechanical Integration phases and virtual builds for both CAD and performance maturity.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with CATIA V5.
  • Proven background in interior engineering.
  • Solid understanding of automotive manufacturing processes.
  • 4+ years experience working with Volvo Cars.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across engineering teams.
  • Confident in leading, taking action, and communicating.

Location Requirement

Only candidates currently based in Sweden able to work in Gothenburg will be considered.
