Shift Leader at Canman in Gothenburg

Do you want to lead production in a rapidly growing beverage factory?

At Canman in Gothenburg, we produce a variety of beverages including energy drinks, soft drinks, Christmas soda (julmust), wine, and other exciting products. In 2025, we invested in new machinery and are now looking for a Shift Leader who enjoys pace, technology, people, and production, and wants to help make our production line run even better.

About the role

As a Shift Leader, you lead your shift consisting of 3-5 operators. You are close to the machines, close to the team, and close to the decisions. One moment you are supporting operators, the next you are troubleshooting equipment, optimizing flow, or ensuring a changeover goes smoothly.

This is a role for you if you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving problems, and get energy from seeing people and machines perform together.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading and distributing work during the shift
• Coaching, supporting, and developing operators
• Ensuring production runs according to plan
• Setting up, optimizing, and troubleshooting production equipment
• Working on continuous improvements, reducing downtime, and finding smarter ways of working.
• Ensuring that established rules and parameters for quality, hygiene, and safety are followed.
• Creating structure and positive energy within the team

We believe you:

• Have experience from production, industry, food, beverages, or similar fields
• Have broad technical understanding and enjoy working with machines
• Have leadership experience in production, or are ready to take the next step
• Are solution-oriented, clear, and humble
• Like things happening and can keep a cool head when the pace is high
• Experience with production lines, changeovers, troubleshooting, and improvement work is highly meritorious.

Position: Shift Leader

Scope: Full-time. Employment begins with a 6-month probation period.
