Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Bastard, you are a vital part of the operations and take significant responsibility for delivering a world-class product. You may be an expert in the kitchen or provide fantastic service, but in this role, you are expected to be interested in both areas.

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you are also responsible for evaluating and developing various areas of your restaurant. You ensure you are an operational expert with full control over daily operations. Together with the Restaurant Manager, you continuously evaluate to improve and develop the culture and the KPIs we consider important. When the Restaurant Manager is not on site, the Assistant Manager holds the highest responsibility. The role involves high operational responsibility with administrative elements.

Overall responsibilities:

• Together with the Restaurant Manager, be responsible for operations
• Support the Restaurant Manager in leading the team, where you care for the team rather than the "I"
• Work on improvements within service, quality, inventory, COGS, waste, and scheduling
• Continuously work to ensure all food safety routines are followed

We are looking for someone who...

• Education requirements: none
• Has previous experience from the restaurant or service industry, preferably with personnel responsibility
• You must be able to speak Swedish and/or English; proficiency in both languages is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

• Is structured and responsible

• Is committed to Bastard Burgers and preferably already knows us!
