Recipe and Production Method Developer within Food Security

Do you want to contribute to strengthening society's food security and develop future meal solutions? The Meals Area within the Supply Administration is looking for a development-oriented employee who wants to work with recipe development and the creation of efficient production methods for sustainable and long-term robust meals.

The employment is part of a food security project, where a process manager together with a chef will work to strengthen the region's capacity for meal supply. The project will be based at the hospital kitchen in Borås.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Developing recipes together with the responsible process manager that combine good taste, nutritional quality, and long shelf life.
• Creating and improving working methods and production processes that support food security and secure supply.
• Conducting tests, documenting results, and contributing to standardization and quality assurance.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including research, suppliers, and meal organizations.

We are looking for you who have:

• Education as a chef.
• Experience in recipe development or food production.
• Ability to work systematically, analyze results, and drive development work.
• Interest in food security and innovative solutions.
• Relevant education in nutrition, food, gastronomy, or food technology is an advantage.

The position is a fixed-term assignment starting August 24th until December 31st.
