The Regional Area Västfastigheter, Construction and Management supplies the region's operations with premises, represents the property owner for the region's property portfolio, and is responsible for property development and construction projects. The Regional Properties area is responsible for space supply, taking into account space efficiency within its own property portfolio as well as through external rentals to the region's operations not located in hospital properties.

The External Rentals unit is responsible for the region's need for operational premises outside hospitals, such as health centers, dental clinics, and psychiatric clinics. The unit is also responsible for the installation and management of alarms, access control systems, paging systems, electric locks, door automation, and other security technology in rented premises. The unit consists of 18 people in roles such as project managers, technical managers, property managers, and the unit manager.

Responsibilities

Your area of responsibility will be to procure and manage TSA projects (Technical Security Installations) in externally rented premises. You will represent and safeguard the customer's interests in the TSA project, often from early stages. You are responsible for the progress of all parts of the project after they have been formulated and established by the customer and responsible managers. During the actual execution of the project, you are responsible for ensuring that the implementation is carried out in accordance with the established conditions.

Furthermore, you are responsible for procurement and monitor the projects based on the lease agreements. You will have support and collaboration with our technical managers and property managers to ensure and maintain building technical standards according to the requirements of the Region of Västra Götaland. In tenant adaptations carried out by the external property owner, you will have the role of project monitor and representative on behalf of the tenant.

The role may also involve project coordination responsibilities. In addition to the role of project manager, you will distribute new projects among the unit's other project managers and ensure that each project manager has the appropriate workload. Together with the unit manager, you are responsible for monitoring the unit's economic investment framework for TSA.

The position is based at Regionens Hus in Gothenburg and is a fixed-term appointment for 11 months.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a university or civil engineer in civil engineering, or alternatively have other education in the area that we assess as equivalent. You have experience of project management within the property industry in positions such as project manager, assistant project manager, or equivalent. It is meritorious if you have experience of working with technical security installations and if you have experience of working with low-voltage technology. If you have experience of procurement for public operations according to LOU (Public Procurement Act), this is also considered meritorious.
