About DFDS Logistics Contracts
DFDS Logistics Contracts is a full-service terminal within contract logistics located in Arendal, near Gothenburg Port. The terminal's operations include cross-docking, as well as handling and storage of packaging materials.

About the role
As a Pallet Repairer, you will work in the terminal's carpentry workshop, repairing damage on used pallets and pallet collars. The work is carried out using various tools such as a nail gun, crowbar, hammer, and handsaw. Some forklift driving is also involved.

Working hours: Evening shifts, Monday–Friday, 14:50–23:35. This is a fixed-term position with the possibility of extension.

About you
You have previous experience in manual labor, preferably in carpentry or repair work. You like to know what is expected of you when you start work and are driven by working at a high pace. You are an active person who enjoys physically demanding tasks. It is important that you are adaptable and handle changes in routines in the best possible way. We provide training during daytime hours for the first few weeks before you transition to evening shifts.

Requirements for the position

• Basic knowledge of Swedish and English.
• Experience operating counterbalance forklifts.
• Experience handling tools such as nail guns and crowbars.
• Accustomed to physically demanding work.

Ambulatory Consultant
You are employed by us at DFDS Professionals but work on-site at our clients' premises. Being an ambulatory consultant means you are employed by DFDS Professionals to perform work in client companies, where your workplace, working hours, and tasks may vary within an agreed service area. Selection is ongoing, and appointments may be made before the final application deadline.
