Kista Health Centre is looking for a nursing assistant for home care services for a 6-month temporary position.

Kista Health Centre has just over 11,500 registered patients and is located right in the middle of Kista Galleria, with excellent transport links – approximately 17 minutes from the city centre by metro and good cross-city bus connections.

Approximately 37 employees work here: doctors, district nurses, registered nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, receptionists, psychologists, and a rehabilitation coordinator. Responsibilities:

All typical duties of a nursing assistant in home care at a health centre. This involves both independent work in the patient's home environment and teamwork.

Employment type:

Temporary position for 6 months. Full-time (100%). Working hours Monday–Friday. Probationary period may apply. Start date by agreement.

Qualifications:

Nursing assistant with proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare and eligibility to work in Swedish healthcare. Experience in primary care and/or home care, as well as knowledge of the TakeCare medical record system, is an advantage.

Personal qualities:

You are flexible, responsible, service-oriented, and have good collaboration skills, able to work both independently and in a team. A good and respectful attitude towards patients, relatives, and colleagues, as well as the ability to share knowledge and information, is of utmost importance. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position will be filled provided it does not need to be reserved for internal relocation, according to current regulations.

For patient-facing roles within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

  • A background check will be conducted before the employment decision, according to SLSO's general guidelines.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, as per current directives, conducted through occupational health services before employment.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, in addition to a Swedish professional license. The same requirement applies to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
