Preschool Assistant / Childcare Assistant in Duved

About the Position

The preschools in the Duved principal's area are now seeking 4 trained preschool assistants (barnskötare) or childcare assistants (barnskötarassistenter) with work experience.

Our vision for the preschool is to create the "Preschool of Opportunities in Time" – a democratic meeting place and the children's arena, where all adults stand up for children's rights. The preschools in Duved have adopted a project-based approach where the adults are responsible for the quality of the preschool's education based on the children's interests. We listen to what the children express and build meaningful content together with the children based on the curriculum's values and mission, as well as goals and guidelines. We want the preschool to be a place that both children and adults look forward to.

Your Responsibilities

Your tasks consist of both working with the children and working for the children. Working with the children includes group work with teaching and care. Working for the children involves systematic quality work with documentation and reflection, individually and together with colleagues, as well as communication with guardians.

You will be part of a work team together with preschool teachers and additional preschool assistants/childcare assistants. The preschool teacher is responsible for ensuring the quality of the preschool's education and teaching, which you carry out jointly in the work team.

Qualifications and Merits

• You have a preschool assistant education or other education that benefits work in preschool groups.
• You participate in the work to develop the preschool's quality based on our curriculum and other governing documents.
• As a person, we see that you are relationship-building, curious, and responsible, and wish to work together with both children and adults.
• You can work both individually and together with colleagues.
• You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work in teaching children and in contact with guardians.
• You have basic digital skills to perform digital notes in our programs Unikum and within Microsoft Office, as well as the ability to document in images and text for our systematic quality work.

Previous experience from work within preschools is an advantage.

Duration: Permanent, start date: According to agreement.
