We are currently looking for you who want to work extra with a nice guy in his mid-20s living in Östersund (please mention ref 29-26 in your application so we know this is the specific assignment you are applying for).

Your duties will be to help with whatever he says he needs help with, which may include some personal care, transfers, and chores/activities both at home in the apartment and out in society. The man likes computers, music, movies, his car (driven by staff with a driver's license), video games, and going to the gym, but he is also open to new suggestions for things to do. He is an evening/night person and wakes up tired in the morning, so it is an advantage if you are too! He has a cat 🐈, so you cannot be allergic. If you have a dog 🐕, it is allowed to come to work with you – provided you believe it can get along with a cat, of course 😃

Working hours 📅 🕰️ are agreed upon on a case-by-case basis and can be a full 24-hour shift from 15:00 to 15:00 the next day with sleeping on-call, but sometimes it might be day or evening/night depending on what you can and want to work. There is also a possibility to work extra with another one of our assistance users if you would like to 😃

It is good if you have previous experience with disabilities, care, and assistive devices – but it is not a requirement since you learn such things quite quickly. Getting along with each other is the most important thing. Start date by agreement.

OBSERVE that you MUST be able to speak, write, and read Swedish without difficulties!

About us:

PERSONAL ASSISTANCE AGENCY has existed since 1996 and is therefore Jämtland's oldest assistance company! We have our office at Folkets Hus/OSD, Krondikesvägen 93 (back side towards the racetrack) in Östersund. We have permission from IVO (National Board of Health and Welfare) to conduct assistance activities as well as home care, and we naturally have a collective agreement (Fremia/Kommunal) for all our staff.
