ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Assistanslotsen are now looking for dedicated personal assistants for our client on Frösön in Östersund.

We are currently looking for you who can work as a casual employee on an as-needed basis, as well as a summer substitute. To be considered for a casual position, you must be available to work during part of the summer starting from July 11th.

Working hours:

• 08:00–20:00

• 20:00–08:00 (sleeping on-call between 00:00–07:00)

Start date is by agreement.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a social and cheerful woman in her 70s who enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends. She appreciates going to concerts, having coffee, and relaxing with crosswords, which is one of her favorite activities. After a brain hemorrhage, our client has lost function in her legs and therefore needs support in her daily life. As a personal assistant, you play an important role in helping her live as independent and meaningful a life as possible.

Tasks:

• Support in daily routines and household chores

• Cooking and baking together with the client

• Help with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and transfers

• Accompanying to various activities, errands, and doctor's visits

The client uses an electric wheelchair and lifting aids in daily life.

Employment level: 4 casual employees + summer substitutes

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

To be employed by us at Assistanslotsen, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as the applicant, can present a valid ID document and/or submit a certificate of personal data (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
