ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Assistanslotsen are currently looking for four personal assistants for one of our clients in Nälden, approximately 30 km west of Östersund. The positions we can offer are:

• 2 Summer Temporary Positions (until week 33): The workload is approximately 3 shifts per week, both weekdays and weekends.

• 2 Fixed Weekend Shifts: Positions at 12.5% where you work either every other Saturday in even weeks, or every other Sunday in odd weeks.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• Weekdays: 07:00–20:00

• Weekends: 10:00–20:00

Start date is immediate for both summer temporary positions and permanent roles, so we would appreciate it if you could arrange an introduction as soon as possible.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a 20-year-old young woman who enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, and taking walks. She uses a wheelchair and needs support with all aspects of her daily life. This means that as a personal assistant, you will help her with transfers, personal hygiene, showering, dressing, meals, and exercise. As a personal assistant, you will have an important and meaningful role where you contribute to creating security, participation, and a functional daily life for her.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver's license

• Access to a car

• No allergies to fur-bearing animals

• Non-smoker

BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in personal assistance or other care experience

• Nursing education or equivalent

Employment Level: 4 positions, two summer temporary positions with 3 shifts per week and two fixed positions at 12.5% during fixed weekend shifts.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

To be employed by us at Assistanslotsen, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and/or submit a population registration extract (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the population registration extract from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order in good time.
