About the client

The client is a cheerful and lovely teenage girl who loves swimming, listening to music, and playing around. She enjoys activities and is often on the move, so it is important that you, as an assistant, enjoy an active work environment.

As a personal assistant, you will support her in her daily life. Duties include, among other things, hygiene, tube feeding, medication, exercise, communication, and mobility. There is a lot of movement, gymnastics, and outdoor activities. You will also be involved in play and music sessions. Listening and singing together is a big part of daily life.

About the position

We are now looking for several assistants for both day shifts (07:00–20:00) and awake nights (20:00–07:00). The work takes place on weekdays and weekends, and is performed at the client's location.

The work is done with double staffing, which means you usually work together with a colleague. However, there may be occasions when you work alone.

Due to an increased number of assistant hours and a new schedule, there is an opportunity to submit preferences regarding how you wish to work and what percentage of employment you desire.

We are looking for someone who

• Is female
• Has a positive attitude and is energetic, cheerful, and enjoys being playful
• Is responsible and confident in your role
• Enjoys active work with lots of movement and activities
• Is proactive and can adapt to the client's needs
• Has good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Is a non-smoker and does not have a fur allergy (experience with animals is an advantage)
• Is open to learning sign language support and willing to use it in communication (experience is an advantage)
• Sees this as a long-term position

Other

The position involves assistance for a child under 18 years of age, which means you must be able to present a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (criminal record check) with no remarks. Please bring this to the first interview.
