Job Responsibilities

We are in need of social secretaries in several units, including welfare support and children and family services. Both permanent positions and temporary assignments are available. If you are curious about working with social work in Åre Municipality, you are heartily welcome to contact us!

As a new employee, you will receive an introduction tailored to your needs as well as a mentor who guides and supports you in your work. We have also appointed a senior case worker within children and family services whose task is to work closely with and support you as a new employee, all so that you can thrive and be sustainable in your professional life.

During the period May–September, we also work summer hours and finish half an hour earlier. If you work for Åre Municipality, you also have the opportunity to work remotely up to two days per week.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Social Work Degree (Social Worker)
• Driver's License

Employment Information

Type of Employment: Permanent position.
Duration: Start date: 2026-05-01 by agreement.
