About the position

Responsibilities
As a Social Secretary LSS, you will investigate, process, assess, make decisions, and follow up on decisions within the framework of the Act on Special Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Disabilities (LSS) as well as the Social Services Act (SoL). Your main tasks will be to investigate, decide, and follow up on approved measures. As a Social Secretary, you process applications for both children and adults.
The work is based on a holistic perspective of the individual with their needs in focus, which takes place in collaboration with relatives, healthcare, other authorities, and partners. You collaborate with both internal and external actors and are part of a work team with group leaders and social secretaries within social care.
Requirements and qualifications
We are looking for you who have a social work degree or what the employer considers to be an equivalent education. You have experience working with processing and documentation according to the Act on Special Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Disabilities (LSS) and the Social Services Act (SoL). You should be well acquainted with the laws governing the operations and have the courage to test them.
It is desirable if you have experience documenting in Life Care and investigating according to needs-oriented and the systematic working method IBIC.
We are looking for you who have the ability to listen, create participation, create engagement, and work independently. Collaboration skills and flexibility are required for the assignment. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
