We are currently looking for you who want to work for a nice guy in his mid-20s, living in Östersund (please reference number 30-26 in your application so we know this is the specific assignment you are applying for).

Your tasks will be to help with whatever he needs assistance with, which can include personal care, some transfers, and chores/activities both at home in the apartment and out in society. He likes computers, music, movies, his car (driven by staff with a driver's license), video games, and going to the gym, but he is also open to new suggestions for activities. He is a night owl and a morning person only in the evening, so it is an advantage if you are too! He has a cat 🐈, so you must not be allergic. If you have a dog 🐕, it is welcome to come to work with you – provided it gets along with a cat, of course 😃.

Working hours 📅 🕰️ are 6 days per month (from 15:00 to 15:00 the next day with sleeping on-call duty) plus 3 day shifts, sometimes working together with a colleague.

Previous experience with disabilities, care, and assistive devices is a plus, but it is not a requirement as you learn these things quite quickly. The most important thing is that you get along well with each other. Start date by agreement.

OBSERVE that you MUST be able to speak, write, and read Swedish fluently!

About us:

PERSONAL ASSISTANCE AGENCY has existed since 1996 and is therefore Jämtland's oldest assistance company! We have our office at Folkets Hus/OSD, Krondikesvägen 93 (back side towards the racecourse) in Östersund. We have permission from IVO (National Board of Health and Welfare) to operate assistance services as well as home care, and we naturally have a collective agreement (Fremia/Kommunal) for all our staff.
