About Herresta Preschools

Herresta Preschools consist of four preschools: Barken, Draken, Parkvägen, and Viggen. All preschools are centrally located in the growing and vibrant Barkarbystaden area. Our preschools are integrated into multi-family houses, have their own courtyards, and are simultaneously close to nature.

We are now seeking three preschool teachers for interim positions, two at Parkvägen preschool and one at Draken preschool. Here, you will have a meaningful role where you influence children's development and learning every day.

At all our preschools, we work with a process-oriented approach and focus on language-developing methods. Several staff members are trained in TAKK (Sign Support) and Före Bornholm, which gives us good prerequisites to support each child's linguistic and communicative development.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a preschool teacher for an interim position who wishes to contribute to further developing our operations together with colleagues.

Here, you will have an important role in creating a safe, challenging, and inspiring environment during your time in the operation. Together with your team, you collaborate and communicate to develop pedagogical environments that stimulate children's development, curiosity, and desire to learn. We always start from each child's unique prerequisites and work purposefully based on the curriculum's intentions.

As a preschool teacher, you organize the work with a holistic perspective, where teaching is systematically followed up, documented, and analyzed to ensure high quality. You reflect continuously, both independently and together with colleagues, and keep yourself updated on research and external factors that can enrich teaching and develop the operation.

• Are structured: Plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. You set and keep timeframes.
• Have cultural awareness: Understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. You are aware of how your own values affect your way of acting and reacting.
