About the role
We are currently recruiting an Interim Director for a Swedish government agency in Borås! In this interim role, you will have the opportunity to lead the agency's accreditation department. Your task is to ensure delivery, stability, and high quality in operations while driving development, leadership, and digitalization/AI adaptation. You will be part of the agency's management team and have personnel responsibility for four unit managers and staff functions.

Assignment period and scope
The position is a full-time consultancy assignment starting on 2026-08-24 and is expected to run until 2027-01-31.

Requirements for the role:

Relevant higher education/university degree for the assignment.
Strategic approach to digitalization and AI, with an interest in how new technologies can streamline and improve operations, as well as the drive to push development forward.
Experience in leading managers.
Experience in business development, strategic planning, and budgeting.
Understanding of the public sector's mission and conditions.
Ability to be clear in the expectations of the employer representative role and to motivate and develop employees in an organization undergoing change.
Available for a physical interview with the agency during week 27 or week 28.
