The Social Services Administration in Askersund Municipality is responsible for elderly care, LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and care operations, social psychiatry, operations for unaccompanied children, as well as individual and family care.
5 positions available.
Job Responsibilities
We are now looking for casual workers with a genuine interest in working with people for our operations within Care and Elderly Care as well as Disability Support.
In all our operations, your main task is to help others feel good. You do this through social activities, providing support in daily chores, as well as care and elderly care. You receive a lot of appreciation in return, a feeling that makes you feel good!
Common job responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support based on individual needs.
- Work independently and take responsibility for your assignment.
- Document in implementation plans and operation systems.
- Collaborate in teams and with other professions.
Work in a person-centered and rehabilitative manner.
- Perform health and medical care tasks according to prescription and delegation.
We will hire based on the needs of the operations, and the possibility of summer schedules may occur.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a confident and engaged care assistant or assistant nurse with drive and a forward-looking attitude who wants to help provide users with a secure daily life.
We would like you to:
- Be 18 years or older.
- Be educated as an assistant nurse or care assistant, or have relevant experience (meritorious).
- Have a genuine interest in working with people and a desire to make a difference for the people you help.
- Be receptive and have a good approach towards users/residents, relatives, colleagues, other professional groups, and management.
- Be responsible, flexible, and willing to learn new things.
- Master Swedish in speech and writing, as Swedish is the common working language at the workplace. Many of your tasks involve being able to receive instructions and convey information correctly and clearly. You will collaborate and communicate with people from different linguistic backgrounds, and you are expected to contribute your experience and competence in a positive and constructive way.
- Have good computer skills.
- Enjoy working both independently and in teams.
The work can be both physically and mentally demanding, which requires good health. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

For some positions, a B-driver's license and the ability to cycle are required.

- Salary form: Hourly wage.
