About Us
Welcome to Närhälsan Angered Health Centre and Child Health Services (CHS). You will join a positive workplace with dedicated employees working for continuous improvements. Närhälsan Angered is an established health centre with just over 13,300 registered patients. The population is young, often has many children, and originates from all over the world.
We are located in bright, modern premises within Angered District Hospital, and specialist clinics with which we collaborate closely are also located in the same building. We provide comprehensive primary care with specialist clinics for CHS, diabetes, heart/vascular, asthma/COPD, medical podiatry, and dietetics. The health centre also has a counseling clinic with a psychologist and counselor with CBT competence.

About the Job
Your duties at CHS are varied, following children with their guardians from newborn until school health services take over. You play a central role in meeting families' needs, making medical and nursing assessments, and prioritizing care. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treating, both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.
Your physical workplace is at the Family Centre in Angered Centre, where you work closely with educators at the open preschool, social workers/parent advisors, midwives, and also CHS nurses from Capio. One of the goals of the family centre work is to offer cross-professional collaboration in addition to basic operations, creating added value for the families who come to us. The goal is also to identify families with more extensive needs as early as possible from a preventive perspective.
You will work among other things with health checks, vaccinations, and parent groups. We work according to the Extended Home Visit Programme (UHB), which has received very positive attention. UHB involves six home visits during the child's first 18 months, together with a parent supporter. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so mentoring students is also included as part of your role at the health centre.
About You
You are a registered nurse with specialist education as a pediatric nurse or district nurse. It is an advantage if you have experience working with children and young people and/or have a 7.5 ECTS supervisor education, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making independent decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can prioritize your tasks effectively.
In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, sensitive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and that collaborating with colleagues and other contacts is second nature to you. You can express yourself well both verbally and in writing, and are an engaged and good listener at both digital meetings and visits at the clinic. We would appreciate it if you have an interest in digitalization and business development.

About the Recruitment Process
Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates to a telephone interview. The hiring manager then makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the health centre.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so that we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
