We are looking for a school nurse for Fiskebäcksskolan F-9 in southwestern Gothenburg!

The school is located in a coastal environment with great opportunities for rich nature experiences and public transport nearby. Job Responsibilities

As a school nurse in the Primary and Lower Secondary School Department, you work health-promoting and preventive, including health visits, health talks, and vaccinations according to the basic program in the City of Gothenburg's method book for school nurses and school doctors. You also have your own open clinic and clinic together with the school doctor. The school nurse and school doctor are part of the school's combined student health services and contribute medical competence to student health work. The school's combined student health services work together with other staff at the school to create a safe environment and good conditions for the student's health, development, and learning. You also collaborate with guardians as well as organizations and authorities outside the school.

You are part of a professional network for other school nurses in the educational area, with regular meetings for professional development and support in work, led by the medically responsible manager (MLA). The school nurses in the network are also offered supervision and profession-specific competence development. As a new school nurse with us, you will receive an introduction plan and access to a mentor during the introduction period.

As a school nurse, you work together with the school's student health team consisting of the principal, special educator, school counselor, school psychologist, and school doctor. Additionally, another school nurse works part-time at the school.

Qualifications

Requirements:

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialist education in health and medical care for children and adolescents, district nurse education, or further education focused on school nursing.

You will work in various IT systems, and we are looking for you with good computer skills. All documentation for school nurses and school doctors as well as student health is done in our digital medical record system, PMO.

Merits:

If you have previously worked as a school nurse or have experience in health-promoting work with children and adolescents, it is meritorious, but not a requirement.
